About The Midmarket Institute

The mission of the Midmarket Institute is promote the growth and vitality of midmarket companies and those that support them by building the community, sharing tools and knowledge, and by providing a marketplace for business transactions.

The midmarket is a significant engine of employment and wealth creation in economies around the world. However, the midmarket has been offered few solutions for its specific needs by the supplier community. Moreover, state and federal government programs have focused their resources on small and large businesses, leaving the midmarket to largely fend for itself. The Midmarket Institute seeks to expand opportunities and increase competitiveness for the midmarket community by focusing exclusively on the unique needs of the midmarket.

What we do

  • Build the midmarket community and bring the various stakeholders together online at www.midmarket.org and in-person (conferences, symposia, and retreats) at venues in various cities.
  • Provide community and networking tools to foster a culture of sharing ideas and best practices within the community.
  • Partner with various organizations that can bring tools and insights to enable midmarket companies to become more competitive.
  • Aggregate content and also create original content in the form of books, papers and business tools pertinent to the midmarket.
  • Sponsor research on midmarket issues.
  • Advocate for the midmarket community with government and non-governmental agencies.
