The European Mid-Market PE Conference
According to a recent report by Preqin, a data provider, mid-market private equity funds have outperformed all other types over the past five years and have become more attractive to investors than mega funds. With uncertain times upon us, that is encouraging news.
However; all is not well in the world of mid-market private equity. Debt is still difficult to arrange, company valuations have not come down to a level many have expected and there is increased competition from larger funds for assets. Mid-market firms will need to adjust their business models to the new environment.
This conference will look at the adjustments private equity houses can make to prepare for what are likely to be the best vintages in a very long time.
