Letter From Our Founder
I am delighted to welcome you to The Midmarket Institute. Here at the Institute, we have a very simple objective - to foster greater understanding, collaboration and commerce amongst and between midmarket companies and those that support them.
Through our online presence at www.midmarket.org, in-person events, publishing, sponsored research and advocacy, we are committed to help you succeed in these challenging economic times. Today you can read (and comment on) our blogs and join the conversation on facebook, Twitter and our Linkedin ‘Midmarket Group’.
As our site evolves, we will offer new and exciting ways to leverage the collective knowledge of the community through Special Interest Groups (SIGs), Member Profile Search, Supplier Search and ‘Ask the Membership’, to name a few. We will continually look for new ways to bring more value to you. In the coming months we will be rolling out a different kind of knowledge center to address the challenges of the midmarket. One of the issues I have heard from talking to CEOs and CFOs is that the midmarket would benefit from using ‘ready to use’ tools. We will aggregate assessments, tools, checklists and templates to help you address business issues. We will also cull content from the public domain and from partners that are relevant to the midmarket. Later this year, we will launch our MARKETPLACE section on the website to enable midmarket companies and suppliers to transact business with each other.
My colleagues and I are passionate about the midmarket. We are keenly aware that each of you brings additional knowledge and different perspectives. It is the combination of our collective knowledge and dialog that will enrich the entire community – and increase the value you get.
